mater hospital brisbane diploma in nursing, im accepted but i really can not pay $16,000 is this to much is there a way around it? is south bank good

Are you an international student? TAFEs all have different prices, according to their levels of government subsidy. I went to Logan TAFE and got through ok. Everyone has different experiences, and reviews aren't alway accurate. It does depend on the individual student as to how they go with the training organisation.

every tafe charges differently. To do the diploma at cairns Tafe it is just over $3000 and you only pay per semester and there is also a payment option , I think cairns is the cheapest of all the tafe's in Queensland
And like mentioned INternational students pay a different rate whcib is usually quite a bit higher.
If you ring the Tafe you are enrolled in and ask them what options are available Im sure they would be bale to help .

wow that is crazy I thought most TAFE's have a payment plan or a scheme like VETHELP, have you enquired about payment options with student services?

you can get much cheaper courses yes, but i think doing the mater based one might be better in the way of getting a job, mine is costing $8,000 but my tafe has payment plan that is interest free, other payment plans can cost you much more then the acutal course some times costing 3 times more once payed off. mt- gravatt offers the course from 7-8k also :)
