Hi,

I am wondering if anyone can help me, i live in sydney by the way..

Next year I am very interested in doing cert 4 enrolled nursing course. I am having alot of trouble figuring out how to do this... I have found a course at Tafe that is cert 4 but it says it is not running it next year. I have searched for private colleges that might offer this course but have come up with nothing.. I have even looked into traineeships and cant seem to find anything.

My plan is in 2009 to complete this cert 4 then move onto diploma and eventually go to uni to become a registered nurse.

Can anyone advise me the best way to become an enrolled nurse? Anyone done the course?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is very frustrating!

Hi Jasmin,

I believe NSW is in the process of changing over to doing the diploma EN course at the moment, but there is very little information around about this. Assuming that intakes haven't changed you probably wont be able to start this until september.

Other than that if you want to start sooner I think TAFE SA offer the dip externally through their whyalla campus. There is a thread around somewhere discussing this course.Although I'm not sure whether or not it is still open for application.
