hi bianca here im hopeing that somewhere out there someone can give me advice or help on trying to find a traineeship doing nursing :)

Heyy! Well RMIT City campus offers Traineeships for div 2 nurses. im currently doing it now. you should call up and enquire with them. =]

Hi Bianca, st vincents private offer 2 trainesship places mid year. I have an email address for a contact but i don't want to put it on here. If u can post ur email address I'm happy to send it to you. There's also another hospital that also does traineesships... I just can't remember which one at this point of time. I'm on holiday so I'll check when I'm home again & post again mon or tues! Also as mentioned RMIT them & also ACU & I'm guessing they are probably in aged care.

Hi!! I'm in the same boat but in South Eastern Suburbs Melbourne. I've emailed just about all Aged Care facilities in the area - any other suggestions? I really want to be able to start my traineeship for end of June intake at RMIT!!

hey yeah i just got into apprentiships plus ummm havent actually started traineeship yet but you go through diffrent tests wether they take you on or not so good luck with that RMIT sounds good have you done ur vetasses yet?????

Yeah I've done my Vetassess, my problems is getting somewhere that will take me on as a trainee nurse!! I've kinda got something up my sleeve, but I guess what I need is a plan B - just incase. Tell me more about Apprenticeships plus? How does it work exactly?

well i went for 1 test at the start too see if i qaulify for there standards..... then i went to uni for another test samething about the standards then you go to uni for thrree weeks if you passed the test then work placement for three weeks if you go well at that they give you a traineeship.... but you shouyld call them up apprenterships plus in northcote there alwats looking for poeple who have done there vetasses too offer a traineeship
