from what i remember here in victoria when i enrolled for my Div 2 course, 3 years ago, you had to sit a 2hr test of english comprehension and basic maths and then write an short essay on why you wanted to be a nurse. i heard they then started 'interviewing' candidates, so be yourself, (confident, witty, respectful, polite etc etc ) get some confidence by getting your friends to ask you questions like 'tell me a bit about yourself, your hobbies etc' and some nursing type questions in a semi formal setting so you can get used to sitting at a desk and chair opposite, the questioners may be impressed if you can relate any experiences you have had working with people / patients and why you enjoyed it, sometimes they will ask you to think of a difficult situation and how you dealt with it. the other 'typical' questions are 'tell me about your strengths' 'what are your weaknesses'. might be good for you to go to a library and have a look at 'interview skills' or the like.
