Hi everyone, If you read my previous post you would know I am considering a career change. I've decided to do the cert 3 aged care course online and see how I go with working full time, kids etcIs anyone doing the course now who would like a study buddy or just someone to chat to if we get stuck on questions etc?I'd really love someone to chat to about it allThanksRebecca

Hi Rebecca I too studying aged care cert 111 online who are yu doing it with i am with opencolleges online and am in perth have pretty well been studying all year quite hard ...smiles....

Hi Debra I'm studying with tafe by correspondence, I have a lot of modules that I've been RPLed for so I'm really happy about that. I'm on the dementia book now, where are you up to?

Hi Rebecca...I should have got RPL on dementia as I have my cert 111 in dementia and have worked in that area as a volunteer for some time...but just didnt want to pay the extra money I am doing palliative care and the one before that individualised plans which i have put aside really struggling with that one...did my head in...lol....so will go back to it....when i have done this and dementia....how have you found the course with cengage/open colleges..have you started work placement yet?....I am a mature age student a career change...smiles.....email me privately if you like....where are you..as said i am in perth...look forward to chatting...Deb

Sorry Rebecca...blonde moment..lol....your with tafe ...not cengage i wish i had of done tafe.....would have been alot easier..your units may be different to mine....i will send you what i have had to do a little later today....and just compare the two...Deb

Hey Rebecca, I have just started studying Certificate III by correspondence with LITC. I am happy to be a study buddy although no doubt you are ahead of me. I have nearly finished writing my essay for the first section so hope to send the first assessment off next week. I work full time and studying once I get home and on weekends, but I would love to complete it in record time lol. I have been told getting the police check can take up to 2 months so I will be getting that in coming weeks.
