I am about to enrol in distance education in certificate III in aged care, but I am still undecided in the provider , my decision is  between National college and seek learning wich is a TAFE course deliverer by OTEN. I was wondering if anyone as study with any of those provider, could you share your experience, what about their support and was the learning material easy to work with.thanks.

I guess Oten Tafe courses are really developed in consultation with relevant industry and community groups, so your qualification is highly valued by industry employers, education and training providers and the wider community. You could gain career-relevant skills and knowledge which are immediately applicable, and a qualification that articulates into university programs.

Hello ,

OTEN is highly recognised , however i found that you have to be extremely organised , disciplined to complete your studying at home . I am now studying Certificate 4 in Aged Care . I have HACC Certificate 3, Health Services Certificate 3, and have worked in this area for nearly 4 years. To gain entrance into university , i am studying Certificate 4 in Aged Care .... this allows a pathway to study BN.

Hope this helps :)
