Author	new grad program in age care?

Aside from BUPA, are there any other places who has a new grad program for age care? Lately, i really dont like asking people upfront about or inquiring about new grad program in age care because i have been having eyebrows go up. Majority of the people I know, think i am insane in wanting to work in age care....but i personally dont think it is. The thought of having many grandfathers and grandmothers to take care of appeal to me. Call me wierd (maybe its true)...but thats what i feel about age care. sincerely, bituin

Peaople should stop this behaviour, I always enforce it with them, saying Well it could be you or your parents, that makes them think. I am just about to study, what did you study? Best of luck, and dont let people affect you, its aged care/nurses that make differences. Izak

bituin (offline) Joined: Nov 2008 Location: Posts: 11	May 26, 2010, 08:39 pm Hi Izak! thank you and I shall keep your advice in mind. :) Its nice to know that i am not alone in thinking that Age Care is a great specialty to work in and make a difference. high five to you i am on my final year of the 2 year fast track BN course at UTAS - Darlinghurst, Sydney branch (at the back of St Vincents hospital). If all goes well, i will be graduating Feb/March next year fingers crossed. how about you? what and where are you going to study? Ciao, bituin
