My RN friend and I have been trying to develop an online business that provides competency tutorials and assessments for AIN's and Personal Carers. As we are both from the aged care industry we want to target that market, with simple, easy to understand information. Easy enough for those where English is a second language. We understand that there are organisations out there that provide this type of training for RN's and EN's but we aim to keep, specific and simplified for the AIN and PC employees.
I'd love to hear peoples feedback on online training in the nursing industry, especially for this type of staff. Do you think its feasible? Do you already use something like it? What areas do you think need extra staff attendtion in aged care?
