Hello there. What A GREAT thing volunteers are for an Aged Care facility.
I feel that what one wears should be relatively conservative and of course, minis and clevages are out.
Anyone needs to feel comfortable in their attire; wear anything that you know your grandmother would approve of. :)

You've just answered your own question....

and your Forum name tells me a lot about you as well.

Young lady, try to adopt a professional approach to your mode of dress. Don't wear anything that's going to 'arouse' the 'poor old blokes'.

I've seen some girls wear their tops with an extra one or two buttons undone, and it's led to 'groping', inappropriate comments, and even embarrassing body reactions, on the part of the male resident.

Even in other environments, it's too risky to dress like you're down at the beach. I once worked in a jail ( as a nurse ), and the student nurses came in for a placement. One girl was tricked into bending over, to pick up ' dropped ' dominos from the table. The experienced RNs could see what was going on, and we casually got the girl out of the situation, before the guys went to the 'next step'. She wore too short a skirt, and had a ' see through ' button up blouse. Not the appropriate dress for an all male jail !!!

regards,
