I'm studying the cert 3 in aged care and hacc, and we've done the manual handling unit, but I'd like more examples and demonstrations. Just wondering if there's a website or other resource that can help? My trainer said we're going to do more manual handling, but I wanna do extra research so I'm ready for my work placement. Thanks!

I had a look at utube and they have some very helpful clips on manual handling . Wellness and Lifestyles Australia.

I would suggest the Carer's Handbook , produced by St Jhons & Carers Australia but I am bias as I work for Carers Australia

http://www.stjohn.org.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=203&Itemid=227

Other than that, I would suggest the above, you tube, just make sure its from a reputable source such as St Jhon's or other training organisation as there is some misinformation out there.
