Hi, does anyone have any ideas on 1 or 2 textbooks to buy that will help me as a source of reference through the course and thereafter?
I heard The Australian Carer by Helen Croft is prety good and so is Aged Care in Australia. Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Both are excellent sources of information. You may be able to get a copy of aged care in Australia through your library. I did have difficulty trying to purchase this. the Australian carer I purchased through Fishpond.... Government health websites excellent.. Alzheimer's Australia a great source of information they also have workshops that you can attend..

Thanks... noticed both are on e bay at the moment, but the latter is a bit pricey. Wonder if there are sites where students offload their old copies. Will try Fishpond, tho never heard of it.
