what are some of the issues facing careres of people with disabilities. What are some stories of what you found difficult when you first started and how di you to deal with these difficulties. What are some of the difficulties that persist and how do people deal with these,

Hi Molly,

I am new to this site and I just saw your comments. Well you raised very general and very valid question about people with disabilities facing difficulties in work places. I only presume that you are in the nursing profession. I just attended a workshop and seminar on this at Sydney Uni. UTS organized it was fantastic.I can give you an information that you can follow; there is a site that you can go which is www.aend.org.au We had people from this organization called; Australian Employers' Network on Disability, Name a few; Robyn Lang, Mark Lazaroo and International Human Rights Lawyer Rosemary Kayess They were fantastic!!!!

I am so greatful of your advice, i too am new to this site and forums, i have just started my trainee ship in aged care, and am putting my heart and soul into it, it is a passion of mine , with the written work i have to do at home there are some subjects where i need advice on certain matters , so i would be greatful if i could get back to you from time to time,, thanks agagin Bee, and all the best to you ion the coming year also,
