I am currently working in High Care at a Nursing Home as well as maintaining some hours in the HACC field. I hold a CERT III in Aged Care and Home and Community Care and am very interested in returning to study to obtain my Cert IIII in Nursing or EEN/Div 2.

As I am a single Mum of 2 with a mortgage and am nearing my 40's I cannot afford to leave work to study. Can anyone tell me what options are out there for me? I have investigated TAFE and am aware that they offer part time courses. I would be very interested in finding out about scholarships and Traineeships. Has anyone got any info about these?

I know you can do a traineeship if you are already working in aged care, you can do a traineeship. This makes it very cheap for you, your employer can receive $4000 for doing it and you will be able to keep working while you study. Here is a link that might help you find a provider in your area. http://www.nswgrouptraining.com.au/p91_Enrolled-Nurse.html
