Hi Everyone,
This may be a weird question but i was told by someone, on the Austudy Number at Centrelink (about 6 months ago) that you can claim a payment when you have finished your studies, which i am only weeks away from doing. The lady was ever so helpful, she gave me site/link and i wrote it down and gave it to my wife to deal with as she is the financial planner in this house, however yes you guessed it she put it in a safe place and now we can't find it, have turned the house upside down.
The lady specifically told me (and i remember this) that not many people know about this payment. I looked it up at the time and she was right, it was a payment that you can actually get when you finish. It was not through Centrelink, it was through some other site, like education dept or something similar.
Please, please let me know if you know about this, i have googled, i have rung the deewr, deta, grants link etc and i have even gone back over the history on our computer to no avail. Thanks in advance.
