Has anyone had trouble enroling in certain units? I have been able to select 6 out of 8 but i am having trouble with the other 2. Is there anyone here who has completed there enrolment for FT with out any trouble?

Lulu, do you have to enrol in subjects for the whole year? not just first semester?

I called today and was told to enrol for the whole year. Semester 1 is fine but i have had problems with 2 units for semester 2. Have you tried yet?

no i havent Lulu, i have a problem that i think might mean i have to defer till 2012....if i can. im not sure if you can defer once youve accepted the place?? you could in the old days but im not sure anymore. i was hoping that we only had to enrol for 1st semester as that might have made my problem slightly easier to sort out...but obviously not..bugger

Jules she may have just been telling me that i can enrol for both semesters, I'm not certain that you have to.
Hope you can sort out your problem. I dont know about defering after you have accepted, it might depend how quickly you get onto it.

thanks Lulu, ive spoken to someone @CDU and he has told me i can just enrol in 1st semester subjects so that solves my problem.

Hey guys. Just to clear a couple of things up for you (I'm about to begin my second year at CDU). The reason you can't enroll in a couple of the units in the second semester is because you have to have completed certain units from the first semester first. You'll be able to enroll in them once you have completed your first semester. Hope that helps and good luck.

Thanks for that. I ended up getting a msg saying one of the units was because of a pre requisit. However the other one is a different problem, but hopefully i have figured that out too. I think because it is a placement unit, I only have the option in enrolling at cas or AS, so that is why there is no external option. Hopefully that is all it is. Thanks for your reply. Hope you are enjoying you course so far. I will basically be doing the second year subjects next year, starting to get a little nervous now.

hi Lulu, how has the study progressed this year? im trying to consider whether to start the CDU course in 2012 or just let my place go. im just not sure that the external thing will work for me..i found it all a bit confusing. whats your experience been? do you feel like your getting a decent learning experience? is the system easy to navigate once you get used to it? before i deferred my spot this year i was getting the feeling that i wouldnt like learning this way.. how has it been for you now that your almost at the end of the year? jules
