Well - I'm a tad nervous!!
I received my offer on the 30th June - and here I am.

Going to study full-time at Port Adelaide Tafe. Have just finished doing Certificate III in Health services assistance (in nursing) so hoping that going straight into EN, I wont freak out too much. (yet!)

I'm hoping there are a few others out there.

hi momo, congrats on getting into your course, I applied but didnt get first round offers =( i was thinking of doin the same cert in health services, what did that course have in it? maybe then if i apply for nursing next yr i might get in. good luck, hoping I get second round offers so I can join you! =)

Sorry to hear you didn't get in on the first round of offers. Hopefully you'll still get in. Have you put Health services assistance as one of your choices? It's not too late to, I don't think.
It was actually a great course. We did do a whole heap of modules that we can get RPL for. Anatomy & physiology, Infection control, cultural diversity, OH&S etc. We also did a whole heap of lab work. (BP's, Resp. Pulse - generally most obs) I really enjoyed it, and it has given me more drive for nursing. :)

Hi momo! thanks for replying, I just added health services to my newer preference so hopefully i get that then move on into nursing next year hopefully! when do you start nursing?

I think we start at the beginning of August. I'm still waiting for all my enrollment information to come in. I was at the TAFE on Friday and they said that they're being sent out soon.

Just wondering if Davia is still around, and how you went? Did you end up getting into Health services? Have you re-applied for EN for next semester?

We're almost finished our first semester. So far, so good.
