Hey Everyone!

Just asking if anyone else is studying the EEN's online, and how they are finding it?

Hi, I am not actually studying online. But I am interested in doing so. I have completed up to third semester een course At SouthBank, but found it increasingly difficult trying to study around the children and make classes. Are you doing your course at the Spencer Tafe. I think it would be easier for me if I could complete the rest of my course online. Any information someone could give me would be helpful.

yep I started 15th Feb at CY O'connor tafe, Northam, Perth WA. ITs 100klm out of perth but I chose this beacuse it is flexible learning as well as approx 2 days per month on site where as Mt Lawley tafe was 2 days per week! I am luck to be still working - but as of now I have dropped back to 4 days per week as the 2 days per month are mondays. So I am taking every monday off now so in between i can stay home and do all the learning guides online etc.

Come August when the Diploma starts its 2 days per week at Northam, whereas again Mt Lawley is up to 4 days per week, so i definatley would have to almost give up work and I cannot afford to. So even though i will travel 100klm 2 days pwk i can still work 3 days per week.

I am finding it bit hard to concentrate on my own with study so i have to find a way to dedicate the time and turn everything off and just sit here with the lap top and do it. I have met a great study friend at the tafe and we are thinking of getting together once a week to put 2 heads together and read through stuff rather than on our own. this may help with the udnerstanding and stuff hopefully.

anyway good luck and keep in touch if need be

Hey Scoobie - have a look at the program offered by Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.

Here is the link; www.goldcoast.tafe.qld.gov.au/search/course_finder/index.php?script_name=coursedetails&course_id=3331

Hello,
How is everyone finding the Gold Coast Tafe Online EEN course? About how many days a week do you need for the course and placement? Is it hard?
I am thinking of doing the course as a stepping stone to doing my RN but only have 3 days a week for study due to work commitments.
Thanks!

How are you all finding it online? I am currently studying my first semester at another tafe and it is just not me. So am considering changing to online at the end of the semester.

Will be good to hear back from you all.

Thanks :o)
