u can do the theatre course though Mayfleid in victoria, they offer training in enrolled nurse and theatre tech..., etc.

Hi Everyone,

Does anybody know the current nurse pay rate in Victoria? I've been searching the internet, but I couldn't find a reliable source. The only source I could find is from NSW http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/nursing/employment/nurse_award_wage_rates_08.asp

And also, if I work as a Div 2 Med Endorse, is there a difference in salary between working in aged care and working in hospital?

To ms cat: Have you heard a positive feedback regarding the operating theatre technician course in Mayfield?

Won't be enough if you're still the one to purchase your own nursing uniforms. And there are issues like, RN's not being granted of overtime pay. But LPN and LVN may be paid.
